WHAT'S HAPPENING
JANUARY
It’s time to clean house and resolve, the new year is upon us.
A friend of mine told me on New Year’s Eve (4 PM – socially distanced) he wants to start dating again. He said he was thinking of someone of Spanish descent—apparently, the Spanish like cooking and cleaning.
He said it’s because self-cleaning apartments don’t exist.
To which another friend replied, “Lindsay has one.”
I do. It’s an inside joke—as inside my apartment.
Anyway, NEW YEAR.
25 WANTS.
Some ridiculous, others sensible (opposite of ridiculous: lame).
NUMBER 25
Make strangers laugh, daily, naturally, emphatically.
How, especially in the SOCIAL DISTANCED WORLD?
The simple answer: just be yourself and share your smile with the world. I do epic walks daily, so, that's what I plan to do. I don't particularly like my smile, but what the hell; a positive outlook coupled with a kind heart, well...if we all smiled, perhaps the world would become a little brighter.
If my smile doesn't work, it's a good thing I'm darn funny!
OUTCOME
Okay, here’s the thing with this resolution. It’s not so much the action as it is thinking about it and turning it into a mantra for living. Life is bleeping tough. For everyone. Of course, those who’s main concern is money and themselves…well…it’s tough for them as well, they are just too stunned to realise it because they are too busy screwing others over in pursuit of things that feed them money and…nothing more.
ABCDEGHILMNOPQRTUVWXYZ
Why are there letters missing?
Because they care only about money—screwing others—they don’t, bleeping care, how tough life is for others. And the clock is ticking for them just like the rest of us.
BACK TO THE RESOLUTION
If you always are thinking about making people you don’t know, or know, smile every day—it could be as simple as giving them a smile first—regardless of whatever is transpiring in your life…well…then you are without question giving something back and making the world a better place. Making others smile is more a frame of mind than an actual action, and if you enter that mind-frame, you are thinking in a positive manner!
I do, when I walk, I think about how to make life better, not just for me, but for the strangers I pass by.
Therefore, this RESOLUTION is STAMPED: SUCCESS!

Now at-bat for the Eastview |Braves| all-star second baseman Lindsay Wincherauk.
Lindsay can hit for power + percentage + he has a rapier-like gold glove with a penchant to turn the double play with his rocket arm. Unquestionably, he is destined for the $$$-millions of the majors—except for one thing, have you ever seen someone look this goofy in a baseball hat?
Baseball career: done.
Football: A City + Provincial + National Champion one-eyed record holding QB.
Can’t wear helmets all day.
Toque, okay—only for winter.
Shorn head, burns, must find a hat that looks at least presentable!

Dare to Dream
I never thought I’d go to Hawaii. I never had the burning desire. Then I went—in 2018.
Did it blow me away? No.
But, somehow, it etched a place into my psyche.
Why?
It reminds me of home, only with different, perhaps, perfect weather. That is if you love sun, sun, sun, heat, and sun.
I think what I love the most about Hawaii is as much as it is America, it’s far enough away to be different. Not there is anything wrong with America.
What’s that, have I been paying attention to the last 4-years?
Things that jumped to my attention during my two visits I absolutely loved.
I guess, what I really enjoyed, is the comfort of how boring this perfect island paradise is—that’s not a dreadful thing—it’s just what it is.
My dream is to live there, at least part of the year. Hopefully, Higgins (Perdita Weeks) drops by our luxurious pad for a spot of tea or a dip in our pool. Wouldn’t that be lovely.
That’s all for now. One day my dream will come true. It must, for now it has been written!

Things that jumped to my attention during my two visits I absolutely loved.
- Seeing the confused looks on Midwesterners faces when they realized all of the tourists weren’t white.
- Almost every tourist in Oahu racing around having the exact same vacation.
- The thought of Midwesterners believing there are still hidden gems to be found tourists have yet to find. Hidden Gem = Out of Business.
I guess, what I really enjoyed, is the comfort of how boring this perfect island paradise is—that’s not a dreadful thing—it’s just what it is.

I've gotten an early start on this. I've been sending out query letters to Agents + Publishers and I am happy to say I've gotten my first bite.
First bite; is this about a fishmonger?
No.
By first bite, I am tickled pink...nah...honored to have part of my manuscript YOU requested for consideration by a major literary agent in NYC. Fingers crossed.
