On January 23, 2025, I performed my Eighth Open Mic Set @ Trees Coffee with a cat and Elon Musk stream. The next day, the host asked me if I’d be interested in being a headliner for a Showcase featuring Authors + Orators + Spoken Word. My answer is a resounding YES! I will be given a 20–30-minute Set when I perform at this Showcase. I will keep you posted on when the event is—I’m honoured to have been asked. I’m still battling depression and will keep trying to thread the needle with a steel rope, which is precisely what it’s like trying to reinvent oneself at my age.
