I’m not an angry man at heart—age, life, family dysfunction, traumatic events, + the friggen’ pandemic has softened me. I don’t suffer from road rage. Panhandlers don’t bother me—I understand their path has differed from mine.
What about cyclists?
Don’t get me started on cyclists.
The future scares me (thanks, pandemic).
I’d like to thank my only work friend (laugh) for the last fifteen years. He replaced my work life by slotting in one of his childhood friends into my career position.
How much notice?
Zero—conveniently using the pandemic to replace me, leaving me stranded on an island of uncertainty.
GET ANGRY.
In due time--
From time to time, I like to channel my inner Bernie Sanders, and I feel the need to shout out about what I see—to cleanse my soul.
Whether it’s a polite cyclist screwing up my stereotyping of all cyclists or a twenty-year-old university student whining about how much she is suffering because the pandemic is forcing her to grow up and stop being selfish.
Anyway, sometimes in life, we need to rant to clear our minds to continue being calm.
These (video) videos are snippets of day-to-day life, and I hope you enjoy them!

Twenty-year-old Olivia Barbieri of Surrey BC spoke with Lynda Steele (Show) on CKNW Radio about how hard she is because of the pandemic.
Poor Olivia wants older people to understand she’s “exhausted” being told to stay safe, + she wants more senior people to know how she and other young people are being uniquely affected. Poor Olivia is missing weddings graduations and can’t travel abroad to study.
Hey Olivia, over 700,000 people have died.
WHINE. Our parents got to do things when they were younger. It’s not fair.
Anyway, here are my thoughts on poor Olivia’s plight.
